Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Help residents with ambulation and transfers using appropriate devices and assistive devices
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records per facility policies
- Support safety, infection control, and proper hygiene practices; ensure important privacy and dignity during care
- Respond to call lights promptly and collaborate with the care team to meet individual care plans
Requirements
- Ability to work the night shift (23:00–07:00) on a 5x8 schedule
- Eligibility to work in a long-term care setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to resident dignity, privacy, and safety
- Willingness to follow established facility policies and documentation procedures
