In this Med Surg position, you’ll deliver comprehensive inpatient care across a broad spectrum of medical illnesses and post-operative recoveries. Core responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, development and execution of individualized care plans, IV therapies, monitoring telemetry when indicated, wound care, wound vacs, and post-surgical care coordination. You’ll also engage in proactive discharge planning, patient and family education, pain management, and early recognition of clinical changes in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Your clinical judgment will be complemented by strong critical thinking, prioritization, and safe, evidence-based practice.
