Occupational Therapist – Acute Care, Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Start date 07/20/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility setting. Weekly pay range $2,168–$2,213 per week with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Shift: 08:00–16:30. This temporary assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing occupational therapy evaluations to determine patient needs, goals, and appropriate interventions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and safety
- Deliver direct therapy sessions across the patient population, including gait training, balance work, upper-extremity and fine motor rehabilitation, and ADL training
- Document assessments, plans of care, progress notes, and outcomes in patient records; communicate findings with the interdisciplinary team
- Participate in discharge planning, patient and family education, and coordination with caregivers to support transitions
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies, including equipment maintenance and infection control standards
Requirements
- Active occupational therapy license in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure
- Graduation from an ACOTE-accredited OT program
- Experience in skilled nursing facility or acute care settings preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to manage a priority-driven caseload and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- BLS certification is advantageous
