Occupational Therapist – Acute Care in Bozeman, MT. Start date: 08/03/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,684 to $2,718 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 5x8-hour days. Setting: hospital-based acute care.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive OT assessments of physical and functional status, including upper extremity function, ADLs, motor and neurological status.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with manual therapy, modalities, therapeutic exercise, splinting fabrication/modification, neuromuscular reeducation, and ADL training.
- Document initial evaluations, progress notes, daily treatment notes, education, and discharge summaries in accordance with rehab policy.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to manage pain, enhance safety, and improve function; communicate the plan of care clearly.
- Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations and work screens; conduct driver evaluations if trained.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize treatment planning and education.
Requirements
- Montana Occupational Therapy license (active) required
- Graduate of an accredited AOTA OT program
- American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Two years of hospital (inpatient/outpatient) OT experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital-based acute care setting
