Speech Language Pathologist travel assignment in Helena, MT. This 13-week engagement is in a long-term care (LTC) setting. Start date: 04/20/2026. Weekly pay range: $1,947 to $2,039. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for adult residents in the LTC setting.
- Implement evidence-based therapy addressing communication disorders and swallowing function; monitor and document progress with objective data.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, OT/PT, social work) to coordinate care, set goals, and support discharge planning.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance with facility policies and state regulations.
- Participate in care planning meetings and communicate resident status and therapy outcomes to the care team.
Requirements
- Active MT state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for licensure.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Availability to work on-site in a long-term care setting, with a Days shift schedule.
- Experience or comfort working with adult populations in LTC/SNF environments; knowledge of dysphagia and communication disorders is preferred.
- Ability to travel to and operate within the designated assignment location and to adhere to facility policies and procedures.
