Travel Registered Nurse House Supervisor Job
Registered Nurse – House Supervisor travel assignment in Newark, New York. Start date 04/28/2026 for several weeks. Weekly pay range $2,322–$2,434 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: 4x9 Nights. Setting: skilled nursing facility with 180-bed long-term care, rehab and neurobehavioral units.

Responsibilities
- Provide off-shift RN supervision and leadership during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Mentor and supervise nursing staff to maintain high-quality patient care and safety
- Coordinate and monitor clinical care across units; de-escalation and management of behaviors as needed
- Perform IV starts/maintenance, PICC line care, wound care (including wound VAC), and tube feed/ostomy/catheter care
- Ensure infection control practices, isolation procedures, and emergency transfer readiness; lead code management when applicable
- Maintain thorough EPIC documentation, incident reporting, death documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, radiology, social services, pharmacy, unit secretary)
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- BLS certification required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Minimum 2 years of charge nurse/leadership experience
- Ability to work across geriatrics and neurobehavioral populations; willingness to float as needed
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; locals not accepted
