Occupational Therapist – Outpatient, Templeton, CA, United States. This is a travel - temporary assignment starting 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,461 to $2,700. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week. Shift is 5x8 days. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital environment with inpatient and outpatient services.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans to restore and improve functional abilities.
- Deliver therapy interventions using evidence-based techniques and standard treatment protocols; adapt plans for outpatient and inpatient needs.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, co-leading patient groups and coordinating care with physicians, therapists, and family members.
- Develop and communicate discharge plans, ensuring smooth transitions and appropriate follow-up or home care guidance.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within established deadlines; monitor progress and adjust plans accordingly.
- Supervise and provide guidance to assigned assistants; ensure safe, compliant delivery of therapy services.
Requirements
- Licensure: Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice required (California).
- Education: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) required; only if license obtained on or after January 2007; or foreign equivalent.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; CPR acceptable per policy.
- Experience: 1 year acute care occupational therapy experience required; 2 years OT experience preferred; ICU experience required; EPIC EMR experience required.
- Additional: Ability to work in an acute care hospital setting with outpatient services; valid for travel assignment.
