Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Northwestern Arizona. Start date 04/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Any shift. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Weekly pay range $2,197-$2,300. This assignment is in a surgery center setting with ICU responsibilities and periodic float to ED, Med/Surg, or Peds when census requires.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including monitoring, assessment, and response to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, fluids, and therapies per physician orders; manage tasks such as IV therapy and ventilator support as assigned
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other team members to develop and adjust care plans; document care accurately and timely
- Perform nursing procedures in accordance with standards of care and hospital policies; ensure patient safety and comfort during care
- Support after-hours recovery for postoperative general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients as needed; assist with patient and family education
- May float to ED, Med/Surg, or Peds during low census to support unit coverage
Requirements
- Active RN license with an unrestricted practice privilege in the United States (including territories)
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent
- Experience: minimum 3 years of ICU experience
- Certifications: current Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to be completed within 6 months of hire; Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within 6 months of hire; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 6 months of hire
- Ability to work in an ICU setting and to float to ED, Med/Surg, or Peds as needed
- Orientation complete every 2 weeks as part of onboarding process; housing and start logistics managed through the assignment process
