Travel Registered Nurse LTC Job
Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC) | Bellaire, Michigan, United States | Start date 05/21/2026 | 13 weeks | $1,932–$1,956 per week | 36 hours guaranteed | Night shift (3x12) 7:00 PM–7:30 AM in a LTC - Nursing Home setting. This travel‑temporary assignment is designed for experienced RN staff ready to provide skilled nursing care in an LTC environment.
Key Highlights
- Weekly pay range: $1,932–$1,956 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week (with some schedules potentially reaching 48 hours)
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Start date: 05/21/2026
- Weekend schedule: Every other weekend
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies; prepare equipment and assist with examinations and procedures.
- Monitor residents, document vital signs, and report significant changes to the supervisor, physician, and family as appropriate.
- Coordinate nursing services on the resident unit; assign duties and ensure care is delivered in accordance with physician instructions and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain unit narcotics control and accurate documentation; record admissions, discharges, transfers, and incident reports per facility policy.
- Participate in care planning; complete nursing assessments and resident care plans accurately and timely; contribute to audits and special projects as directed.
- Ensure resident confidentiality, uphold residents’ rights, and promptly report accidents or injuries; supervise and mentor nursing staff as assigned.
Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license (Nursys accepted)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- 2+ years of experience in LTC, SNF, or Medical-Surgical settings
- Must have completed at least one successful travel assignment as a RN (note in work history)
- COVID-19 vaccination status required; if declined, wearer of a mask is required
- 2 supervisory references from within the past two years of employment
