This travel - temporary assignment is a 4-week engagement in a skilled nursing care environment, designed for clinicians providing continuous resident care in a long-term setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision.
- Administer medications and document care in the facility’s records following physician orders.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, perform routine assessments, and report changes to the supervising nurse.
- Collaborate with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans.
- Maintain safety, infection control practices, and respect residents’ rights; respond to call lights and medical emergencies as needed.
- Document all care activities accurately and in a timely manner and adhere to regulatory and facility policies.

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license; Alabama licensure or eligibility to practice in Alabama.
- Ability to work night shifts on a 3x12 schedule (19:00–07:30).
- Availability to participate in a 4-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing/long-term care environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to follow care plans and collaborate with the care team.
- Must meet standard pre-employment screenings and compliance requirements for travel healthcare assignments.
