Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department in a home healthcare - hospice setting.
- Oversee patient services, imaging staff, scheduling, financial activities, and equipment management.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, standards, and protocols governing diagnostic imaging.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned personnel using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to coordinate imaging services that support patient care plans and palliative goals.
- Monitor department performance metrics, budget, and equipment preventive maintenance; implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
Requirements
- Prior experience in diagnostic imaging management or healthcare leadership.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for diagnostic imaging.
- Demonstrated supervisory and organizational abilities; capable of managing staffing, scheduling, finances, and equipment.
- Willingness to work in a home-based hospice setting as a travel assignment.
- Active radiologic licensure in California or eligibility; ARRT certification or related credentials preferred.
