Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ER, including triage, rapid assessment, and continuous monitoring of patients with a variety of acute conditions.
- Initiate and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team; administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions per protocols.
- Assist with procedures and critical care activities (e.g., airway management, wound care, dressing changes, telemetry, and point-of-care testing) as credentialed.
- Document all patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic health record; communicate clearly with the medical team to support safe, timely dispositions.
- Coordinate patient flow, including admissions, transfers, and discharges; provide patient and family education and support as appropriate.
- Participate in code/rapid response events; uphold infection control, safety, and quality standards in all ER activities.

Requirements
- Active California RN license (in good standing)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required; TNCC preferred
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of ER or unit-specific experience within the last 3 months
- Education: Nursing degree from an accredited program (RN)
- Ability to work the listed setting and shift (3x12-hour nights) in a fast-paced ER environment
