Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in clinical scenarios.
- Document patient status, responses to treatment, and care plans accurately and timely.
- Maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in the care environment.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligibility for CA licensure).
- Ability to deliver nursing care in accordance with the nursing process and established standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
- Demonstrated capability to supervise and direct nursing staff during care delivery.
- Willingness to work the 12-hour night shift schedule.
