Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policy
- Monitor residents, document vital signs, changes in condition, and care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility, ensuring safety and comfort
- Perform routine nursing procedures and wound care as assigned
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the resident medical record and medication administration record
- Collaborate with licensed staff and the interdisciplinary team to support comprehensive resident care
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing, Alabama
- CPR/BLS certification current
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and meet scheduling requirements
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
