NY RN license must be active/in-hand; BLS is required; EPIC experience preferred; minimum 1 year RN experience; charge experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care for adults and geriatrics on a med/surg telemetry overflow unit, with ongoing telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition/management
- Participate in Rapid Response and Code team activities as part of interdisciplinary care
- Support peripheral venous access care, including IV placement; collaborate with the PICC team as needed
- Provide oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway support; adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Coordinate patient care with IV/PICC team, PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Transport, and Interpretation Services
- Document care in EPIC and ensure accurate, timely communication across shifts
- Care for ED boarders and ED-holding patients as census fluctuates

Requirements
- Active NY RN license in-hand (pending licensure not accepted)
- BLS certification required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Minimum 1 year RN experience (med/surg/telemetry and ED overflow preferred)
- Ability to work in a med/surg telemetry ED overflow setting with float to ED holding
- Phlebotomy and IV placement competencies required
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Floating to ED holding included; minimal RTO restrictions (please note posting supports limited RTO; candidates with excessive RTO may not be submitted)
- Location awareness: candidates within 75 miles of the facility will not be considered
