Echo Technologist (Radiology) requested for a 26-week travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. Start date: 05/18/2026. Weekly pay: $2,335–$2,431. Shift: Rotating with 40-hour weeks and on-call as needed. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment in an acute-care hospital setting, using Epic EMR.

Responsibilities
- Perform adult echocardiography studies, including 2D-Mode imaging, Doppler (CW and PW), and color flow mapping; assess valvular disease, cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, pericardial disease, and effusions.
- Conduct 2D and 3D transesophageal echocardiography (TEEs) as indicated by physician orders.
- Acquire, analyze, and document high-quality echocardiographic data; provide preliminary interpretations or results as appropriate for the workflow.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment (Canon i700 and i900) and ensure proper infection control and room turnover.
- Enter and store study results in the EMR (Epic); coordinate with cardiology and other imaging staff; participate in call coverage and department float as needed.
- Pediatric experience is a plus but not required; collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to meet patient care needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of echocardiography experience in an acute-hospital setting.
- Certification: RDCS with active AHA BLS; ARDMS or CCI certifications are also accepted per notes.
- Proficiency in Epic EMR for imaging studies and report documentation.
- Eligible to work in the United States; must be able to arrive the Thursday before start to complete employee health clearance.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule with on-call duties and to float to other departments as needed.
- Pediatric experience is a plus, not a requirement.
