Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision of a registered nurse
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration according to facility policy
- Monitor resident status, vital signs, and respond to changes in condition promptly
- Perform basic nursing procedures within scope of practice and assist with activities of daily living
- Document care in the electronic health record and communicate changes to the supervising nurse
- Collaborate with the health care team to ensure safe, high-quality resident care and safety of residents
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin Practical Nurse license
- Availability to work the weekend-focused schedule described in the job notes
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment starting 04/13/2026
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills
