The Mauston opportunity provides the best of both worlds: focused ER experience in a midwestern community hospital and the flexibility to travel to additional locations across the United States through our program. You’ll gain exposure to a range of case mixes, patient populations, and facility workflows, sharpening your proficiency and adaptability. The role includes guaranteed 32 hours per week and a competitive weekly pay range of $1,601-$1,693, with extension opportunities and the potential for additional shifts to further your clinical momentum. In this role, your core responsibilities span the full spectrum of emergency care. You’ll perform rapid patient assessments, initiate stabilization protocols, manage airways and lines when needed, and collaborate seamlessly with physicians, charge nurses, and allied health professionals. Expect to lead triage during peak times, implement evidence-based practices, and document meticulously in the electronic health record. You’ll maintain patient safety, adhere to infection control guidelines, and support families with clear, compassionate communication. The position is designed to promote growth: you can expand critical care competencies, pursue certifications such as ACLS or PALS, and assume precepting or leadership duties as you advance.
