Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or group of patients using the nursing process.

- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment; administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and interdisciplinary teams; supervise and delegate duties to nursing staff as appropriate.
- Provide education to patients and families; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a safe environment through ongoing evaluation and quality improvement.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required)
- Minimum of two years of recent med-surg nursing experience
- BSN degree preferred
- Ability to work night shifts in a hospital setting and meet the demands of a short-term acute care unit
