Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging for adult and trauma patients with attention to patient safety and comfort
- Operate CT scanners and manage imaging protocols, including trauma CT studies
- Demonstrate independent trauma scanning ability and work with the radiology team to ensure diagnostic quality
- Utilize EPIC for orders, documentation, and charting; maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Start IVs (PIVs) when needed and collaborate with care teams on patient care during imaging
- Adapt to a teaching facility environment, follow unit procedures, and support patient care needs
Requirements
- ARRT certification with verification; BLS certification
- Vermont license: must apply for VT license at time of offer
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years
- CT imaging experience in a similar-sized teaching facility; trauma imaging experience preferred
- Must be able to start PIVs and perform trauma CT imaging independently
- Phillips CT experience is preferred but not required
