Responsibilities
- Conduct initial evaluations for outpatient patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement and supervise physical therapy interventions to improve strength, range of motion, gait, balance, and functional mobility.
- Reassess patient progress and adjust treatment plans; document progress and outcomes in the patient record.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and activity modification.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure a patient-centered approach.
- Maintain adherence to safety, infection control, and documentation standards in a clinical setting.
Requirements
- Active California Physical Therapist License
- AHA BLS Certification
- Education: Bachelor's Degree from a four-year accredited college or university in physical therapy, or degree in a related field
- Experience: Outpatient PT experience preferred; APTA membership preferred
- Ability to work effectively in an outpatient clinic setting
