Registered Nurse – CVOR in Utica, NY. This travel assignment starts on 05/25/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,352 to $1,458 per week, with guaranteed hours of 20 per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver perioperative nursing care for adult CVOR patients, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative monitoring, and immediate postoperative care
- Monitor cardiovascular status and hemodynamics; administer medications per protocol; collaborate with anesthesia and the surgical team; document in EPIC
- Maintain sterile technique, assist with patient positioning, equipment setup, and room turnover between cases
- Utilize Omnicell for medication handling and ensure accurate charting and verification in the electronic health record
- Support on-call coverage and adapt to unit needs, including floating to other units as census requires
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license (active)
- Associate degree in nursing (or equivalent) from an accredited program
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in perioperative/CVOR or operating room settings
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Ability to work in a CVOR environment with adult patients; on-call availability required
- EPIC and Omnicell experience preferred
