Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; administer medications and monitor patient status.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in day-to-day patient management.
- Document clinical information accurately and maintain continuity of care through effective communication with the multidisciplinary team.
- Prioritize patient safety and quality outcomes while adapting to changing patient needs during night shifts.
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license (state to be verified during hiring)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (3x per week)
- Telemetry/tele health nursing experience preferred; inpatient experience required
- BLS certification or equivalent caregiver certification
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, inpatient-like telehealth environment and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams
