Responsibilities
- Set up imaging equipment and position patients for CT procedures according to department procedures.
- Perform a wide variety of CT exams with appropriate independent judgment and use of equipment to obtain quality diagnostic studies.
- Deliver safe, age-appropriate care and ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process.
- Independently execute job functions, adjusting technique and positioning to optimize image quality.
- Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, document procedures, and ensure clean, safe work environment.
- Collaborate with department staff to meet patient needs and maintain workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- Active licensure or credential as required by state for radiologic technology; CT certification or eligibility per department expectations.
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- ARRT CT certification or eligibility (as applicable to the role).
- Ability to perform a range of CT procedures, set up equipment, and position patients for imaging studies.
- Flexibility to meet department needs and work 12-hour day shifts.
- Strong attention to patient safety, infection control, and quality imaging standards.
