Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant needed for a travel assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire. Start date 04/20/2026 for a 13-week engagement in a long-term care (LTC) nursing home setting. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Weekly pay: $1,660 to $1,701. Shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, five days per week.

Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the OT, assist with resident evaluations, contribute to treatment planning, and deliver therapy services in the LTC setting.
- Implement prescribed therapy activities, adapt to resident needs, monitor responses, document progress in the chart, and escalate changes to the supervising OT.
- Prepare therapy spaces and equipment, maintain cleanliness and infection control, ensure safety during activities, and support related modalities as directed.
- Support range of motion, strengthening, balance, gait training, activities of daily living, and cognitive/perceptual tasks as outlined in the plan; assist with wheelchair transfers and safe ambulation.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; participate in care planning discussions and daily huddles; communicate with residents, families, and caregivers within scope.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation per regulatory requirements and setting policies; uphold privacy and confidentiality standards (HIPAA).
Requirements
- Active New Hampshire Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to work 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, five days per week, for 13 weeks with guaranteed hours.
- Prior experience in long-term care or geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
- Ability to pass health screening and background check; compliance with facility policies.
