Travel Registered Nurse Tele Job
Registered Nurse Telemetry (Travel - Temporary Assignment) in Olathe, Kansas, United States. Telemetry specialty working 3x12 night shifts. Start date 04/12/2026 for an approximately 13-week assignment in a short-term acute care setting. Weekly pay range $1,957–$2,009. Hours are not guaranteed. This role requires floating to other acute care units as needed. Licensure to practice in Kansas with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities
- Monitor adult telemetry patients, interpret rhythm strips, and respond to arrhythmias per protocol.
- Administer and titrate cardiac medications and infusions as ordered, including heparin, diuretics (Lasix, Bumetanide), and antiarrhythmics (Cardizem); initiate Tikosyn/Sotalol when clinically indicated.
- Post-procedure care responsibilities, including TR Band management as applicable.
- Document care in the EPIC electronic medical record; ensure timely and accurate charting and handoffs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans; provide patient and family education regarding telemetry monitoring and treatments.
- Maintain safety and quality by adhering to infection control, medication safety, and clinical protocols while floating to other units.
Requirements
- Active Kansas RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year recent telemetry experience; 2–5 years preferred
- Ability to float to all acute care units
- Availability for night shifts; every-other-weekend rotation required; holidays per unit needs
