Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) role based in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This travel assignment starts 05/05/2026 and runs for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends and on-call rotation. The position is in a hospital setting and is managed as a travel temporary assignment by Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Weekly pay ranges from $2,470 to $2,646.

Responsibilities
- Provide Labor & Delivery care including OR, PACU, and postpartum services within a couplet care model
- Care for mothers and newborns, including babies 32 weeks and up; participate in high-volume delivery care
- Monitor labor progress, fetal status, and maternal conditions; respond to obstetric emergencies
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes; support discharge planning and family education
- Maintain safety, infection control, and quality metrics; contribute to a positive team environment
Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license or compact to practice in Colorado, in good standing
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required
- STABLE required
- Experience in Labor & Delivery with OR, PACU, and postpartum care; couplet care; able to manage high-volume obstetric settings
- Education: graduate of an accredited RN program
- Radius rule: traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility
