Responsibilities
- Perform specialized examinations of the breast to aid in diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
- Operate mammography equipment and perform all required imaging procedures in the department.
- Provide competent clinical care, utilizing appropriate technical skills and sound decision-making.
- Ensure high-quality images through proper patient positioning, compression, and technique, while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Document imaging findings accurately and communicate results to the clinical team per protocol.
- Collaborate with radiology and clinical staff to support timely and effective patient care.
Requirements
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts on a four-day weekly schedule in a travel assignment.
- Capability to perform breast imaging studies using specialized mammography equipment.
- Comfort working within a home healthcare - hospice setting.
- Strong clinical judgment and effective communication with patients and team members.
