Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group according to established standards and the nursing process
- Monitor telemetry patients, interpret rhythm data, respond to alarms, and adjust care plans as needed in collaboration with the care team
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessment findings, and develop and implement care plans to achieve patient outcomes
- Coordinate care delivery across disciplines, direct activities of nursing staff, and provide patient and family education
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and safe transitions
- Delegate appropriately and supervise assigned nursing personnel while maintaining a safe, healing environment
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Minimum of two years of recent nursing experience in acute care, with telemetry experience preferred
- Education: BSN preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a hospital/acute care setting and to comply with assignment specifics (telemetry-focused care)
