Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations using the Siemens Avanto VB19 system, selecting appropriate sequences and protocols for each exam
- Position patients, apply immobilization devices, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the study
- Screen for contraindications to MRI and manage safety practices in accordance with department standards
- Optimize imaging parameters to obtain high-quality diagnostic images; review images for quality and technical adequacy
- Communicate findings and collaborate with radiologists and clinicians as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment usage; participate in standard quality control and safety processes
Requirements
- ARRT certification required
- BLS required
- MRI Certification preferred
- Must have experience with Siemens Avanto VB19 within the last 12 months
- Ability to work in a hospital travel assignment and comply with facility policies
