Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures and techniques described in the job notes, including myelograms, discograms, and arthrograms, as well as imaging across anatomical regions such as chest, skull, GI tract, urinary tract, and vascular system
- Operate and document using Mosaiq; collaborate with the care team to ensure accuracy and quality of imaging and treatment data
- Set up and monitor patients for imaging and therapeutic procedures; position patients correctly to optimize diagnostic or treatment outcomes
- Safely operate an Elekta linear accelerator in accordance with radiation safety standards and treatment protocols
- Maintain equipment, review orders, verify patient identity, and participate in quality assurance and safety practices
- Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures, obtain consent as required, and respond to questions or concerns
Requirements
- Active license as required by state regulations for radiologic professionals (or ability to obtain)
- Certification in Radiation Therapy (e.g., ARRT RT) or as otherwise required for the role
- Education: completed program in Radiation Therapy (associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent)
- Experience: demonstrated knowledge of imaging procedures and techniques; prior experience with Mosaiq and Elekta linear accelerators preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical travel assignment; willing to travel to and work in the listed location
