Responsibilities
- Deliver bedside ICU nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Perform regular patient assessments and monitor hemodynamic status; respond to changes in condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments per physician orders.
- Manage invasive lines, tubes, and equipment; assist with bedside procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the broader care team; document care plans and updates.
- Provide patient and family education focused on plan of care and safety.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) required.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU/travel or trauma hospital experience; experience in a similar hospital setting preferred.
- Ability to work in a high-acuity inpatient ICU environment.
- Flu vaccine required prior to start; no religious exemptions.
- Must be separated from a previous employer for at least 6 months to be considered.
