Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in patient management.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders, document outcomes, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and families, promote adherence to care plans, and maintain accurate, complete clinical documentation.
Requirements
- Ability to provide ICU-level inpatient nursing care and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work day shifts on a 12-hour schedule and manage a 48-hour workweek.

- Prior ICU or high-acuity care experience is preferred; applicable nursing competencies aligned with critical care are expected.
