Responsibilities
- Scrub for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures and for electrophysiology/device implants
- Support cath lab and EP procedures, including setup, sterile technique, equipment readiness, and patient safety
- Monitor patient status during procedures; assist with data collection and documentation; operate imaging systems as assigned
- Maintain radiation safety practices and ensure proper use of shielding and equipment
- Assist with post-procedure care, patient transport, and charting to support clinical workflow
- Collaborate with cardiology and EP teams to maintain efficient case flow and high-quality patient care
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of cath lab experience
- Certifications: RCES, RCIS, or ARRT (RT) with VI or CI certification
- BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association
- EP experience preferred but not mandatory
- Radius rule: permanent address at least 75 miles away from the assignment site
- Must have cath lab experience and be able to work in a cath lab/EP environment
