Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist in interventional radiology/cardiology procedures in the cath lab, including equipment setup and maintaining sterile technique.
- Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment; document procedures accurately and securely.
- Monitor patient status during procedures, respond to physiologic changes, and support safety protocols and emergency responses.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with instrument handling, line management, and room turnover between cases.
- Ensure proper documentation, supply management, and adherence to unit policies and quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience
- BLS & ACLS certifications required
- Ability to float to Cath/IR/EP as needed
- Availability for 4x10-hour shifts with 1–2 on-call per week and every 3rd–4th weekend
- Ability to work in a fast-paced cath lab environment and adhere to patient care and safety standards
