Travel Radiology CT Tech Job
CT Technologist (Radiology) – CT Tech travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date 04/27/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range is $2,751–$2,885. Shift is 12 hours, with a Fri–Sun night schedule (7:00 pm–7:30 am) plus holidays, on-call, and callback as needed. No guaranteed hours. This is a hospital-based imaging assignment requiring current NYS licensure and ARRT certification.

Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; adhere to department safety policy
- Prepare patients for CT scans and explain procedures to help ensure patient comfort
- Position patients appropriately; insert IVs when necessary for contrast administration
- Perform CT imaging across protocols, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
- Document all required information in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and verify images are sent to PACS
- Maintain a clean, safe scanning environment and comply with radiation safety standards
- Coordinate with physicians to provide timely diagnostic imaging results and accurate documentation
Requirements
- NYS licensure to practice radiologic technology (must obtain prior to starting)
- Injection therapy certification listed on NYS license at time of submission
- Graduation from an approved School of Radiologic Technology and ARRT certification
- Two years of CT tech experience; Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Telemetry experience or training
