Responsibilities
- Provide routine nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting according to individual care plans
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy
- Monitor resident status, vital signs, and clinical changes; communicate updates to the supervising RN
- Document care activities and resident responses accurately in the electronic health record
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico (current and in good standing)
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift (07:00–19:30) on a 3x12 schedule
- Local candidate only (no relocation required)
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow care plans and maintain resident dignity and safety
