Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group using the nursing process.
- Collect and analyze health data, diagnose care needs, and develop a plan with interventions to achieve outcomes.
- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery with the treatment team, and promote a safe, healing environment.
- Monitor progress, adjust care as needed, and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to various nursing staff levels; collaborate with patients, families, and other disciplines.
- Provide education to patients and families, and contribute to maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; CPR certification may be required per policy
- ACLS (American Heart Association) or ARC-ALS required
- PALS (American Heart Association) or ARC-PALS required
- Minimum two years of recent nursing experience; acute care experience preferred
- BSN degree preferred
- Ability to work in a night shift and in a travel assignment environment

Education and Licensure
- Nursing degree accepted: BSN preferred
- Active RN licensure in California
- Current BLS and ACLS/PALS credentials as outlined
