Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Registered Nurse, Med Surg – Travel assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date 04/13/2026 for 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. This travel - temporary assignment occurs in a Critical Access Hospital. Weekly pay range: $2,041–$2,243 per week.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, individualized medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Initiate and maintain the computerized Plan of Care on admission; document care and patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans and discharge planning
- Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and the patient’s cultural and psychosocial well-being
- Perform general nursing duties and float to other departments as needed when qualified
Requirements
- Current RN license in Oregon
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Preferred: Certified Medical-Surgical RN (CMSRN); BSN preferred
- Previous Med-Surgical nursing experience preferred
- CRASE training may be required for extended assignments (beyond 6 months)
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and to float to other departments as needed
