Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
Registered Nurse – Operating Room, Hanford, CA. This travel assignment starts 09/14/2026 and runs for 12 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $800 to $841, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. The shift is 4x10 days, typically 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Establish and maintain sterile technique, prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery; respond to changes in vital signs and anesthesia needs.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and circulating staff to ensure patient safety and efficient case turnover.
- Document care, counts, specimens, and intraoperative events; assist with patient positioning and turnover to the post-anesthesia care unit.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements, patient safety protocols, and hospital policies throughout the perioperative period.
Requirements
- Current RN license issued by the state of assignment (California)
- BLS certification
- At least two years of recent OR experience
- Ability to work in a high acuity surgical environment with strict sterile technique
- Willingness to work flexible hours per shift pattern
