Speech Language Pathologist in Seaford, Delaware, is available for a travel assignment starting April 27, 2026. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations for residents in a long-term care setting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans addressing communication and, when appropriate, swallowing disorders.
- Provide direct therapy to residents, document progress, and adjust plans based on outcomes and interdisciplinary team input.
- Collaborate with the care team, participate in care planning meetings, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensure compliance with privacy and safety policies, and adhere to facility protocols and infection control practices.
Requirements
- Active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Delaware or eligibility to obtain licensure in Delaware.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Relevant experience in medical/rehabilitation settings; geriatric population experience preferred.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to meet the travel assignment requirements and adhere to the 13-week contract.
