Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult patients on the rehab campus, including routine assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
- Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team (therapy, social work, and physicians)
- Support rehabilitation goals through assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, and therapies
- Perform wound care, IV therapy administration as appropriate, and monitoring for adverse events
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, accurate documentation, and effective communication with patients, families, and the care team
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (Nebraska) in good standing
- Availability for 7:00–19:00 day shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule
- Ability to work effectively in a rehab campus care setting with adult patients
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to document care accurately
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment with adherence to facility and organizational policies
