Registered Nurse – Hospice in Marshall, Michigan. This travel, temporary assignment begins 07/13/2026 for 13 weeks in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,027 to $2,101 per week. Responsibilities
- Assess patients and administer medications and treatments to relieve pain and manage symptoms, promoting comfort.
- Develop and continually update customized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians, social workers, and other members of the care team.
- Educate family caregivers on disease progression, what to expect, and medication management to support at-home care when applicable.
- Respond quickly to sudden changes in a patient’s condition to provide crisis intervention and maintain safety.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient medical records and ensure clear communication among the care team.
- Offer compassionate emotional and spiritual support, including grief counseling and post-mortem support for grieving relatives.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum 2 years hospice experience (required)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a hospice care setting within a hospital environment
- Availability for on-call requirements: one full week per month; weeknights 1700–0830 and weekend coverage (24 hours)
- Education in nursing appropriate to RN licensure
