Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse, PCU in an IMCU/PCU setting. This travel temporary assignment in Utica, NY begins May 18, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a pay range of $2,214 to $2,340 per week. Shift: Day rotation on a 12x3 schedule. Setting: hospital unit focused on neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory care; float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, skilled nursing care for adult patients in the IMCU/PCU with neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory diagnoses
- Monitor hemodynamics, administer medications, manage lines and tubes (including temp pacer, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP), and document changes
- Support patients with chronic ventilator needs; collaborate with respiratory therapists and other disciplines as needed
- Care for post-operative and acutely ill patients transitioning between neuro and cardiac/step-down care
- Work with EPIC EMR for orders, documentation, and communication of changes in patient status
- Float to other units as required to support unit needs and maintain safe, high-quality care
Requirements
- Current New York RN license; Nursys verification with ACTIVE NY license and all applicable RN licenses
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of IMCU/PCU (or similar critical care) experience
- Education: Graduate of an approved registered nurse program; eligible to practice in New York
- EMR: Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, float-capable environment and to participate in day shift rotations
