Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult patients in neuro ICU and IMCU settings, including neurological assessments and monitoring for changes in status
- Manage equipment and therapies common to neuro critical care (invasive lines, ventilatory support as needed, hemodynamic monitoring)
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; document responses and any adverse events
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust individualized care plans; ensure timely communication with physicians, therapists, and families
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and infection control standards; participate in rounds and care coordination across units
- Adapt to unit needs with potential float between ICU and step-down units; respond to rapid changes in patient condition

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license with ability to practice in Georgia; Nursys license verification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU, neuro ICU, and/or IMCU; strong neuro-focused clinical background required
- Able to work effectively in ICU and step-down environments; comfortable floating between units as needed
- Resume or work history with no gaps greater than 60 days; Skills Checklist, professional references, Certification Card, and Nursys verification available
- Education and additional certifications as applicable to professional practice (noted requirements will be verified during credentialing)
