Responsibilities
- Provide prescribed occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists
- Support a diverse patient population, including geriatric, orthopedics, neurologic, pediatric, and neonatal rehabilitation
- Perform splint follow-ups and assistive device evaluation as part of rehabilitation plans
- Develop and implement patient-specific OT treatment plans; monitor progress and adjust as needed
- Document patient progress accurately in medical records
- Mentor and train staff on technical skills as appropriate; collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with a 40-hour weekly schedule
- Capacity to work under supervision of licensed occupational therapists
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience or comfort with multidisciplinary teams and diverse patient populations is preferred
