Responsibilities
- Serve as the LTC House Supervisor during off shifts, acting as the clinical resource for nursing staff and coordinating care across units.
- Provide problem solving, staff mentoring/coaching, and escalation as needed to maintain smooth patient flow and safe care.
- Oversee nursing activities across multiple units, including admission coordination, staffing oversight, and discharge planning in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Apply core clinical skills as needed: IV/PICC care and starting/maintaining IVs, wound care, tube feeds, catheter and ostomy care, nephrostomy care, and infection control.
- Support de-escalation and safe handling of challenging behaviors, code management, and compliance with regulatory requirements; contribute to incident reporting and quality improvement efforts.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in-hand (required to submit)
- BLS certification (required)
- EPIC charting experience (hard requirement)
- Minimum 2 years of charge/supervisory nursing experience
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and float across units; able to cover nights and weekends per schedule
- Travel eligibility: candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; locals not accepted
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements (DPH, TJC, OSHA), infection control, and sentinel event reporting
