Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, administer interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Apply critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making.
- Document care accurately and maintain patient safety, quality, and continuity of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to support outcomes and high-quality care.
Requirements
- Active RN license appropriate for the state of California
- Oncology nursing experience preferred
- Ability to perform 12-hour shifts and manage care for an assigned patient group
- Eligible to work in the United States for the duration of the travel assignment
- Strong clinical assessment and collaboration skills; ability to function in a high-acuity setting
