Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
ICU/Step-Down Registered Nurse — Nights in California (Greenbrae). Travel assignment start 04/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a 3x12 night shift in a Short Term Acute Care setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,192 per week to $2,259 per week. This role includes floating between ICU and PMCU (step-down) on a 19-bed mixed unit with a 3:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for ICU and PMCU patients on a 3:1 ratio, with occasional float between units
- Monitor neuro patients, manage EBD drains, and administer prescribed therapies and medications
- Recognize and respond to emergencies, perform rapid assessments, and escalate to the multidisciplinary team as needed
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (Epic)
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and ancillary staff to develop and implement care plans
- Adhere to unit protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety standards
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Epic experience within the last year to pass the Epic pre-assessment
- Neuro care experience and management of EBD drains
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Willing to float between ICU and PMCU; 3:1 patient ratios
- TNCC preferred
- Note: This assignment does not involve open-heart cases
