Travel Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job
LPN travel assignment in Newton, New Jersey. Start date of 03/30/2026 for an 8-week assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Earn between $1,901 and $2,010 per week. Evening shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, in a long-term care/assisted living setting. This opening accepts both LPN and RN licensure; LPNs must be IV certified. BLS certification (AHA or ARC) is required. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care/assisted living setting under supervision.
- Administer medications and monitor therapeutic responses; manage IV therapy where permitted by licensure (LPNs must be IV certified).
- Assess residents, document findings, and communicate changes promptly to the supervising nurse and care team.
- Monitor vital signs, perform routine procedures, wounds care, and ensure safety and infection control practices.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Support activities of daily living as needed and educate patients and families on care tasks and safety.
Requirements
- Active license as LPN or RN (per job notes); LPN must be IV certified
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Ability to work evenings (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) in a long-term care/assisted living setting
- Willingness to participate in an 8-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week
- Eligible to participate in an facility interview as part of the selection process
